Hello, this is John Grande. I'm the Business Development Manager for DimeSoft Business Solutions. We are a proud, value added reseller for Acumatica ERP, a completely cloud based, web based business system that includes accounting and ERP functionality, customer management, project management, et cetera. I'm going to give you a very quick overview to show you some very basic functionality. As you can see I currently have Google Chrome opened here on my monitor, but I could be just as easily using Firefox or Internet Explorer, or any of other web browsers. Safari, if I'm on an Apple.
I'm going to go ahead and log in as the administrator of the system. Most people who use Acumatica will be limited to certain areas as it does have a user role security system. Since I'm a superuser, I have access to all areas of the system. One of the things that we will notice right away with Acumatica is that it has a great way of customizing and designing your own dashboards. Here's one that happened to greet me when I first logged in, but if I wanted to show you the different types of dashboards that can be created on a user by user basis, that's a pretty easy thing for me to do.
For example, if I look at what we call the CRM Dashboard, you'll see there's actually a workflow management system here, where I can actually get to my leads, my contacts, opportunities, et cetera. If I go to the dashboard that's called the Requisition Dashboard, you'll see this is set up more like a Wiki page, instructional. You can have these Wikis set up all throughout the system so you can make sure that your users are confident in their navigation of Acumatica by having instructional Wikis throughout the system.
If I was to take a look at the dashboard called PO Tutorial, you'll see this is nothing more than a YouTube video embedded right into the system. This is, again, great for a presentation or informative purposes. If I go jump over to Shared Dashboards again, and we look at the dashboard called Tasks and Approvals, you'll see all of my tasks are listed where I can access them accordingly.
A few other quick things, you'll see that the navigation for Acumatica is very simple. At the top we have our various suites, for example Organization is where we have our customer management, we can manage our products, time, and expenses. Finance is where all of our accounting is done, whether it's in the general ledger or with cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable. It even has support for fixed assets and deferred revenue. If I go into Distribution, you'll see this is where we can manage our inventory, our sales orders, our purchase orders, and we even support purchase requisitions.
This is the core part of the system, although there are many other suites and modules available for Acumatica.
