Everest Inventory ControlInv Screen Shot

Everest provides an exceptional inventory control system.  In addition to the standard features you'd expect in an inventory control system, Everest offers many advanced features such as:

  • Inventory items can store details such as manufacturer, brand, model number, extended sales and purchase descriptions, up-sell information, and even a list of multi-media items to store such things as images, cut sheets, specs, etc.
  • A company can have multiple locations.  Each location can have multiple stock areas and each stock area has multiple bins.  This structure provides a valuable top-down view of your inventory.
  • Special locations can be set up for situations such as receiving inspections, unprocessed RMAs, etc.
  • Item matrixes with up to 5 attributes are available.  This provides the ability to enter charts of sizes and colors, or voltages, phases, inlet sizes, etc. to allow selection in order entry of items by attributes.
  • Item aliases allow the use of a second item number to reference another item.  This is useful for special units of measure, discontinued or obsolete items, or even customer item numbers.
  • Everest supports both kits and assemblies.
    • You can group together several items into a kit.  When placed on an order, the kit brings its component items into the order as well.  Kit pricing and printing is very configurable.
    • You can define an item as an assembly made up of several other items.  A manufacturing work order is provided to build the assembly (finished good).
  • Non-inventory items are supported for service and labor Items.
  • Everest provides transactions for physical inventory stock counts, quantity adjustments, cost adjustments, price protection, stock transfers, and BOM work orders.
  • Automated purchasing generates purchase orders based on current stock levels, purchase orders, work orders, and sales orders to optimize your purchasing.
  • Import and store Third-Party catalogs in the system so their item information is available during order entry without clogging up your normal item file.
  • Do you have a large warehouse and order volume?  A comprehensive pull-sheet system can drive your item picking right down to bin location optimization if needed.
