- In the top-most screen, you see the standard customer browser used to select a customer for editing, inquiry, or transaction entry. The columns can be rearranged, resized, resorted, changed, etc. Each individual user can even save their preferred browser settings.
- In the second screen-shot, we simply drug the Balance-Due column closer to the left side and drug the SalesPerson column above the grid to group by salesperson. We also clicked on the balance column and requested sums. With just a few mouse clicks, we now see the customers balances grouped and subtotaled by salesperson! At this point, the information can be printed or exported. No programming, no waiting, no cost!
- We then clicked on the export icon and dropped the information into an Excel spreadsheet complete with totals!
